OGD Gangster Grigley Mug Shot Coffee Mugs 2021

Here's a functional knick knack item, straight from the wacky world of OGD. Look Ma, they got coffee cups with pictures on them, it's the year 2026, how unique! This is a series that started when John Grigley sent John Lucero a goofy one-off custom coffee cup with his dumb face on it. The actual image of Grigley was a Selfie shot from a movie he was working on at that time. The thought behind the original gift mug was that Lucero could have his morning coffee with his old buddy each and every morning, even though he happens to live far away on the other coast. Then we decided to start using some of these Selfie photos that John Grigley had been creating (Pictures from his acting job wearing wacky clothing/costumes that had nothing to do with his real life) They were dubbed "Selfie Suicides", and now the coffee mugs are "Mug Shots" How witty is that? Anywho, this particular cup is a triptych, with the Old Ghosts Series vintage, and rare never used skateboard graphic from 1985 in the center. (These were “sketches/ideas” for the space between the grip-tape on the top of skateboard decks, designed for Vision Skates, back in the mid 1980's). On the left side of this mug there's an August 23, 2019 "Selfie Suicide" image of Grigley, wearing a fedora looking like a vintage gangster. That shot was taken during the filming of Steven Spielberg's 2021 movie West Side Story. The photo on the right of this mug is another "Selfie Suicide" acting shot of Grigley, in a horrendous "Bob" hairs-do, and sporting a mostacho. I mean, can it get worse than that? This B&W image was taken on Jan 14, 2019 during the filming of The Kitchen, staring Melissa McCarthy, Elisabeth Moss, and Tiffany Haddish. 

So now, after a purchase of one of these fancy mugs, you too can have morning coffee with The Old Ghost himself, so exciting!
