Here's a functional knick knack item, straight from the wacky world of OGD. Look Ma, they got coffee cups with pictures on them, in 2026, how unique! This is a series that started when John Grigley sent John Lucero a goofy one-off custom coffee cup with his dumb face on it. The actual image of Grigley was a Selfie shot from a movie he was working on at that time. The thought behind the original gift mug was that Lucero could have his morning coffee with his old buddy each and every morning, even though he happens to live far away on the other coast. Then we decided to start using some of these Selfie photos that John Grigley had been creating (Pictures from his acting job wearing wacky clothing/costumes that had nothing to do with his real life) They were dubbed "Selfie Suicides", and now the coffee mugs are "Mug Shots" How witty is that? Anywho, this particular cup is a triptych, with the OGD "God Save America" graphic from 1991 in the center. There's a circa 2017 skate shot by photographer Marcelo Duarte?? of Grigley grinding in the pool at Pier 62 Skatepark. The third image is an ancient shot from the very first days of the Old Ghosts Series, in California with Vision Skates. The "Mall Scary John" photo is by Marty Jimenez, circa 1985. So now, after a purchase of one of these fancy mugs, you too can have morning coffee with The Old Ghost himself, so exciting!
