OGD Pay and Play HB Grigley Wall Ride Mug Shot Coffee Mugs 2026

Here's a functional knick knack item, straight from the wacky world of OGD. Look Ma, they got coffee cups with pictures on them, it's the year 2026, how unique!

This is a series that started when John Grigley sent John Lucero a goofy one-off custom coffee cup with his dumb face on it. The actual image of Grigley was a Selfie shot from a movie he was working on at that time. The thought behind the original gift mug was that Lucero could have his morning coffee with his old buddy each and every morning, even though he happens to live far away on the other coast. Then we decided to start using some of these Selfie photos that John Grigley had been creating (Pictures from his acting job wearing wacky clothing/costumes that had nothing to do with his real life) They were dubbed "Selfie Suicides", and now the coffee mugs are "Mug Shots" how witty is that?

Anyhoo, this particular cup is also a triptych, in the center is the amazing "O" (R.I.P.) Frontside Wall Ride shot of Grigley skating at night at the now defunct "Pay and Play" spot at Huntington Beach High School in Southern California circa 1986? On the left side of this mug there's an Sep 11, 2024 "Selfie Suicide" image of Grigley, covered in Hollywood fake blood. That shot was taken during the filming of a still unreleased short horror film by the filmmaker Zoe Camina. The image on the right side of this mug is another John Grigley graphic. It's an iPhone photo of an original "And What Happens Next?" Skull Stencil. It's from the really early days of his adventurous graphic adventure. This was a Graffiti Stencil, that he would use to decorate commercial real estate, for free in his and Thom Nickelson's hometown of South St. Pete Florida, circa 1982? Thom had/has the freehand skills to do proper graffiti, Elroy had to cheat, and use a stencil. 

So now, after a purchase of one of these fancy mugs, you too can have morning coffee with The Old Ghost himself, so exciting!
